Still Here

... with very little time online.
But hope springs eternal. I hear there's a cable internet company that serves my area: 100Mbps for 3,000 yen/mo. Finally, something cheaper than in the States.

I've found that it's easier to drive properly if I don't think, This is the exact opposite of American driving, but simply take it as it is.

Actually, in that respect, driving in Japan is a lot like living in Japan.

Funny, that.

I'll let you know what I'm paying after I sort it all out. I had to talk to three different companies to get my internet service activated, and I think I'M paying around 5000¥ per month in total, but I'm not sure. I don't care at this point, I just want to be online.

I think I have 40 mps service via ADSL. I'm not sure what that means, but it was the best they offered.
